About the Event

Wake Up My Soul is a one-day gathering to inspire and encourage youth and young adults to follow Jesus and live boldly for His Kingdom. Through passionate worship, engaging teaching, and meaningful fellowship, this event aims to ignite a deeper faith and equip the next generation to make a difference for Christ.

Theme: Christian Faith in Public Space

This year, we explore what it means to live out our Christian faith beyond church walls—in our schools, social media, workplaces, and everyday lives. As our culture grows more complex, this theme challenges us to confidently live for God in the public square and reflect His love with courage and clarity.

Church's Got Talent

Do you have a gift that could glorify God? Join us for Church’s Got Talent — an exciting evening showcase held during the WUMS 2025 event! This talent show is designed to celebrate and encourage young Christians who are passionate about using their God-given gifts — whether in music, dance, spoken word, visual arts, or beyond. If you’re 25 or under and dreaming of turning your talents into a calling, this is your moment to step forward.

There’s more than just applause — the top three finalists will receive prize money: $500 for 1st, $300 for 2nd, and $200 for 3rd place. To be considered, all applicants must register and submit their materials by November 7, 2025. From all submissions, three standout performers will be chosen to take the stage live during the event, where the final winners will be announced. Whether you're ready to inspire or just starting to explore your potential, this is your chance to shine — for God’s glory.

Marco Ardon

Marco Ardon

Church's Got Talent Judge

Originally from Valencia, Venezuela, my family and I began a new life in Canada.

In 1996, Freddy Almarza ( Troubadour in Canada now), Luis Miguel ( Bassist in the USA now),and I founded the band and ministry “Xtension Rock & Trova”

Over the years, talented singers like Abi (now in Spain) and @Gabysounds (a singer/songwriter with two albums, now in the USA) joined us, along with other gifted Venezuelan musicians.

Our vision was to blend Latin Rock with real-life stories, Venezuelan history, and spiritual themes—using music to reach those outside traditional church walls. We recorded two albums and performed at universities, rock and tattoo festivals, and opened for major artists like Pablo Milanés, Yordano, and Frank Quintero.

When Venezuela’s revolution began, millions—including my family and fellow musicians—had to leave our homeland. Today, I feel grateful for the chance to make music again and live out my calling in Canada.

Dios los bendiga.
